Me and Mrs. Nubbin, will be there - I've just bought a new sequinned frock, especially for this prestigious do.

Err, that's for Mrs. Nubbin, obviously....

See (Carzee, Plotloss, JonRB, Mel) at least someone is buying their wife a new dress for the occasion !!! not fair

Still no news from Bennno unless Flasher plans to leave his good lady wife at home and bring Bennno instead?

Not heard from Manu yet.

Coming alone Ted. Trying to persuade Bennno to take my spare ticket.....but it would seem he's running scared of all those irate TVR owners who's cars he is always slagging off....

Knowing Bennno though, he will turn up in an AA van just to piss everyone off...

Hey, not fair! Cosmic has carte blanche from me to buy whatever she wants to wear; she just can't decide what to get.

The suggestion you made at Virginia Waters seems to be top of the list at the moment, Claire, but I still favour the PVC ballgown. Well, a man can dream, can't he?

1) Wah!

2) Do you think your dress will cost more than £85? Because that's your share of the cost of tickets and hotel, which I don't believe I have asked you to contribute.

3) Nubbin, thanks man.. gallantry.. hmmph.. you'll be sorry

4) I've been beaten to it by two of my co-accused.. and Plotloss was good enough to 'politely rephrase' what I said at VW

Myself and Mrs Mel have an understanding on all formal occasions, she gets atleast 1 months notice (which she has recieved for BT&P), she is free to get whatever she wants for the occasion and I will pass the relevant hmmmmm very nice/lovely type comments while lifting my head from a copy of Evo/Sprint/Daily Telegraph/Paperback etc. However there is an understanding that come Function minus 7 days absolutely all questions about dress/shoes/bags/hem length etc etc STOP. No questions about anything will be tolerated after this time on any account.

This philosophy comes highly reccomended and cuts out all the last minute trials and tribulations about dress choices that can drive any male to distraction.

Me I just remove DJ from wardrobe on evening of do, brush the dried sick off from round the angles, polish shoes, put on and go.

Still something like 110. Haven't had any more bookings for a few days now. I'll start sending tickets out this afternoon.

'No more tickets for a few days now'

What are people thinking??? This is going to be the event of the year, and every PHer with a working liver has a duty to be there

If anyone is near Egham, can they please go to Scuderia Systems, just off the High Street, and give Manu a slap as I suspect he still hasn't bought the tickets he keeps saying he'll buy

Struth - not only have I bought the ticket for Mr Big and me - I will also have to pay for my frock and the hotel. Now where have I got 'mug' tattooed on my body?
