Vixpy1 I'm going to have to cancel my place as I have to go to Glasgow for my Auntie's funeral. The old dear past away peacefully at 94 she would have been 95 in a few weeks time too.
Hard to think she was a tearaway and rode motorbikes when she was a teenager!
No Problem.
Right, all the spaces are filled!
Right, listen up.
Short notice I know but .. I can't make the rolling road day folks, but will be sending Charlie a cheque for my entry, so if anyone wants a paid-for slot on the rollers call charlie at surrey rolling road to get your name in my space.
Phone : 01276 686111
best wishes.

A very interesting day, great to meet everyone but again I have no idea who's face relates to the PH name on here. (Ted can we have some forehead nameplates please
)
The rollers were spot on for my predicted ooommph factor, and we diagnosed a wee lack of fuelling througouht my rev range, so an AFPR is required to fix that.
Managed a healthy 164bhp from my weezy 1.6. The only thing I came to close winning is the BHP per liter category, fingers crossed. I reckon another 25 can be easily had with the latest planned mods, of AFPR, Intercooler, Decat etc.
The camera crew there today for a documentory on my Africa Trip said they'd have some footage for PH.tv that we can use.
Conclusion: I need a V8
Thanks to Surrey Rolling Road for offering to sponsor the Africa Volvo
Oh & it looks like I might have bought myself a 1968 Ford Mustang, having rescued this chap who's car was'nt running, I've ended up offering to buy it off him. ok I'll ask wifey first

thanks for the day.
nice to have some comparative data against other 5litre TVRs, and to meet the other folks. I had 276 and 219.
I would be very interested to see graphs with all the cars on one chart.
Preferably not with the number plate, but with the mods done and the car type near each line.
These questions are often asked on PH, and I know I'm curious, you have my permission for one to release one set of data.

Good but cold day out
Yep was nice to meet everyone but as someone says im not sure whos who on here without resorting to looking at their car profile pic if they have one.
The alfa put in a lazy performance and will be punished with fill ups at Murco petrol stations for the next week until it learns!

My poor old quattro wasn't exactly on top form either, will be digging out the boost guage tomorrow to see if its set up correctly, and as for the stuck throttle
Still, way I see it is if I think it's quick now then it'll seem ballistic by the time I've sorted it all out!
Cheers Charlie!

Cheers Charlie!
Thanks for organising that Charlie.
The wait went quite quickly whilst chating to a few people - hello to those I met.
My GT3's fitted with a Milltek system including race cats and I was interested to compare it to Glenn's standard system that was tested be Xmas. Obviously there are probably other differences - fuel, climate, tyre pressures, etc. but the exhaust seems to make a difference. I saw a peak of 390.9 HP at 7700 rpm and a torque peak of 290 at 5300 rpm - Glenn saw 380.1 HP at 8000 rpm and 270 at 5300 rpm. So I'll leave the system on.
Cheers
Alex
