You're 24 and like calling people boy and son? Do you think that makes you seem older or more mature? If so, txt spk probably isn't the best way to nurture that image...

As far as tuning goes my mate had one that had new cams, intake, exhaust etc and it would easily keep up with Clio 182s.
VTRs are good if you want (slightly) cheaper insurance but still want fun, the VTS is all in all a better car. Both come with an interesting dose of lift off oversteer which catches some people out, but if you work it, it is a lot of fun!!
either car is a great laugh and you will enjoy, try to find a standard car though as badly modded cars can come with costly bills (gearbox/driveshafts etc) and DO NOT lower it beyond 40mm else you will eat Driveshafts for breakfast. See saxosportsclub.com for more info

Face it, in todays world, neither are quick. And good luck finding one that hasn't been b'stardised by the barry boys...
Course they are still quick , they can still compete with today's 1.6 cars and even out drag some new 2 litres so again trying to look like u know it all but all u know is st. Just install a zipper around ya mouth so that way no1 will have to listen to you. Face it, in todays world, neither are quick. And good luck finding one that hasn't been b'stardised by the barry boys...

Like said, not quick, slow. Christ, low and high boost on my track car, the difference in BHP is bigger than the total power output of a VTS.

First you only driven a 90bhp vtr that does 0-60 in 10.2 which is nowhere near what a 100bhp vtr can do , second i have 2 sites that have tested the vts and do not lie 0-60 8.7 seconds and i will post the links of those sites which are on my laptop. so u don't have a clue what you are on about , seems u don't have a clue what u r on all together , i driven both cars u have not so until u do son u better be quite.
oh you can stay....
For the OP
No thks

And the difference in my bike's power to weight ratio is bigger than your total power of ya silly track car so what , a saxo 1.6 is a quick car and any normal human being will tell you they are quick cars , stop with the hate.
Thanks - your punctuation and gramar is improving fast We have a section for bikes here the cars v bike thing has been done to death
Back to VTR/VTS as I can't remember the last time I saw a std one in nice condition

They cannot be described as quick or fast, whats the VTS 800kg & 120bhp ~ 150bhp/ton, the VTR 800 & 90 ~ 113bhp/ton? The VTS, thats about 30bhp/ton down on my vx220, I'd not describle that as fast its ok, its alright when over 5000rpm fine for a road car to do the commute in, but the diesel rep mobiles will still paste it down the dual carriage way - fast is something it isn't.
Go out in something over 250bhp/ton and thats quick, fast, a lot of fun. It makes things like the Saxo VTS look very, very pedestrian.
I'd go for the VTR, I'd find both slow and I actually agree with you that if your not bouncing it off the rev limiter they'd be very similar on the road, so may as well have the cheaper car.
