Hi Jem, I'd be happy to see that too, I think Charlie did say he would put them all onto one graph, was that right Charlie? Rich...
Hi Rich,
Yes, I can put all the Griffs and Chimeras onto one graph. Please could someone send the reg numbers of all the cars which need to be on the graph and I will put it together.

thanks for the day.
nice to have some comparative data against other 5litre TVRs, and to meet the other folks. I had 276 and 219.
...
Are those figures power/torque or corrected flywheel power/measured wheel power .
276 if corrected power is pretty much on the money for a 500 and 219 for wheel is spot on but if a torque figure then its seriously low.
Harry
sorry dudes,
that was 276 bhp at flywheel and 219 bhp at the wheels.
The torque readings were interesting between cars and mine came out just under 300 and fairly flat accross the rev range, but other mapppings gave different profiles.
Trevs are SO overestimated, that I have had mods and am only just back up there and by no means relatively underpowered.
I'll be interested to see the graphs and we can all have a close look.

My Griff was 3bhp down at the wheels (216 vs 219) against the other modified TVRs. I'm confident that given some new injectors, triple plenum, throttle bodies and Air Flow Meter (which some of the others had), I can outdo the other TVR figures. Rematch next year?
Also, did anyone manage to beat 305lb/ft (approx flywheel)? My MC1 cam seems to be on the button for an excellent torque curve.
Fantastic day out and good to meet other PHers.
Waiting for the comparison charts...

Hello all,
Haven't put the Taraka numbers down -- though will do so, until I have spoken with Dom / Jamie at TVR Power as they may want to add something.
As it is, of the few 5l that I saw I was a few bhp above -- but then I am sliver blue and was the only one to have the roof off!!!

My STi RA v4 managed 264hp and 250lb/ft.
That doesn't seem right to me, so I'm trying to contact The mapper. Could I loose so much through the transmission? Supposed to be 276 standard. I have full de-cat, panel filter and ecu re-map! So was hoping for 300 plus.
Thoughts much appreciated.
Good to meet some fellow p'headers at last.
Thanks to Charlie and his brave colleague standing in front of my car with a fan on the intercooler. I think he may have needed a change of undies when the car started to lift!!!
