BHP at the wheels - prefer Austec for braked system that does flywheel sessions.
No chassis dyno can give certified accurate flywheel figs. We can give estimates, just like Austec.
And our Dyno is Braked, as are all non inertia Dyno's

There is no more risk than if you were taking the engine to peak power revs on the road. We keep an eye on the air fuel ratio which will usually tell us if something is wrong. We don't red line the cars, just take them to where the power curve drops.
Cars which go pop on the rollers usually do so while being tuned, if they have been tuned badly or if there is already a mechanical fault. In the case of Turbo cars, cooling is also very important.
Customers run their cars at their own risk on our road because we can have no idea whats been done to a car before it goes on the rollers and by whom.
We have never had a car go pop on our rollers. If we fell something is wrong, we stop the run.
