Rumours of it's thirstiness are greatly exaggerated.. on the way back from Prestwick (300 mile journey) I averaged 15-20mpg - which included some spirited bursts.

Interesting views.. It's pretty gutting to see it go, after all this waiting and lusting after it (and the hassle of personally importing it) But if you had the chance to make some money on a car, and had the opportunity to buy an identical one from somewhere else the next day for less than you paid for your first one, what would you do ? You'd be a liar if you said you wouldn't do the same. Bear in mind, my goal all along is to own and keep one. Expect to see Ford GT #2 in the coming weeks/month - because they are stonking, astounding cars.
