I do see your point but it's not good logic to assume that staying together in a (possibly hate filled) relationship is better for the child or anyone else - particularly with thier financial position and the fact that help is on tap 24/7 if wanted.
We don't even know if he wanted a child ... All sorts of possibilities in life you know.
I've never liked the bloke (always came across a bit too smug in my opinion) and I'm not saying he's in the right... Just that we don't know enough to judge.
I'm heading back over to mumsnet now.
Good point in bold, I had not considered that angle. We don't even know if he wanted a child ... All sorts of possibilities in life you know.

I don't have much time for Christian Horner but still....I hope she fks better than she sings....
So maybe he didn't want a child with Beverley. Maybe he understood that a child wasn't possible? Maybe that tipped their relationship over the edge?Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that this is the case. I'm saying that we have no idea what was happening within that relationship and so we can't really judge him.

If you don't want children, then you shouldn't shack up with a woman, put a ring on her finger and then shoot your ball batter inside her.
Odd post mate. Been together 14 years, relationship deteriorated as many do. Maybe contraception failed? Maybe a million things.
I'm not saying he didn't want a baby - I'm saying you have no idea what was happening in the relationship and so are in no place to judge....
Everyone involved in this is very lucky. Loads of relationships fail and many kids end up being brought up in very difficult circumstances due to the financial pressure it causes, I suspect not an issue here. Some poor kids get brought up in an environment where their parent are un-loving and almost abusive to each other - but stay together because it's 'right'.... I don't know which is worse to be honest.
Mods - please move it, we're embarrassed to be discussing it in the F1 section.... We need to be discussing Lewis's hair instead.
