Will Nico or Lewis be at fault in Monaco?
Discussion
I mentioned in another thread the 1996 Monaco GP (wet) was one of the best races I have ever been to. Polesitter Schumacher out on the first lap, Hill's engine blew up and Villeneuve crashed.
Once all the top dogs were eliminated the race really came alive and Olivier Panis won.
Rio Haryanto for the win?

I remember that, it was a bloodbath! I was pretty unhappy at the time as a Hill fan, but in hindsight it was an amazing chaotic spectacle. It also shows modern F1 in a good light when you see how common engine failure was back then.Once all the top dogs were eliminated the race really came alive and Olivier Panis won.

I think it was actually on youtube not so long ago, it may still he up.

Particularly good light when you also remember that was in the days when they got a new engine (or two) for every race ... yet still had more failures than today and on slower cars.I think it was actually on youtube not so long ago, it may still he up.

I'd actually be very happy for both Mercs to be out of it, pretty fed up with both of them.
Would make it far more exciting.
Couldn't agree more the last race was great to watch. Would make it far more exciting.

Without the Mercs, it will just be the RB's winning all the time, and we've been there done that and Vettel has the t-shirt.
I like the exuberant way young Max drives so I wouldn't mind that. And Ricciardo is no slouch so I think they would be far more evenly matched than Vettel/Webber.lbc said:
