The director is fking awful here. They keep cutting away from on track action to show pit stops. WTF?

Kimi coming out of the pits ahead of Bottas show how important Hamilton's overtake on Bottas was.

This race is barely watchable.

We really need Rosberg to not finish this race in my opinion. He's running away with it so far. I think this "its a long championship" comment is bks. The Merc has incredible reliability and as we've seen if you get caught up in the mid field, stuff can go very wrong very quickly very frequently.

Yep, I can imagine that's exactly what you'd say if you'd been nerfed off, twice, like that, too.

It's really hard to work out where the cars are on this track, it all looks the same.

Damn, I missed that. I was making a cup of tea during the Safety Car.
Here you go. This guy is great at capturing stuff quickly.

I must confess I'm merely keeping an eye on the race now, rather than watching it avidly.

Anyone else read Perez's radio question about his driving as being "Do you like my driving? Do you like it bh? Do you? Who's your daddy? Say my name" hehe

(He didn't actually say that. He said "Do you like my driving?")

Neutral POV: Kvyat went for a legitimate gap in China and how was Kvyat to know Vettel was wondering if he had a puncture or not. Plus its the first lap so mayhem ensuing is to be expected.

If I was in Seb's shoes I'd be pissed off.

I'm glad it isn't just me getting annoyed. During the pit stop phase for Bottas/Hamilton/Raikkonen the director got it totally and utterly wrong. I don't want moody shots of the Ferrari pit wall or slow motion replays of the Merc being put down from the jacks. Who cares, show me the racing please!

First three positions are nailed on unless there is some reliability issue or error from one of the drivers. Nico is loosing a lot of time in traffic here but Lewis will have to go through them too.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought that. hehe

I missed the start so the best thing I've seen is the cars leaning through the turns. Think I'll turn it off and do some hoovering.

China: Vettel had to decide whether he was going to be speared by Kvyat or crash into Kimi. He chose the later.

Today: Vettel couldn't get out of the way, twice.

It could be argued that it's a racing incident, purely because they're racing. Much like most car accidents can be said to be speed related as typically one of the cars involved was moving at some speed.

If your whole life is racing and you devote all of your time to the pursuit then having someone punt you off a couple of seconds in to a GP must be more than a little annoying.

Odds on there being damage to the car which will result in a penalty should they fix it?
