Not watching live but will listen to first 5 mins.
Listening to the first five minutes of a race that's starting behind the safety car? Surely that's tantamount to listening to the sound of paint drying!

I had assumed, incorrectly, it would come in straight away.....

That's a joke.

Motorcycle Racers trying to put 200+bhp to the floor with one tyre (where the fat part of the tyre is the width of a credit card) can manage it F1 drivers can't

Poor Kvyat a lap down already. I guess he can hope for 10 casualties ahead of him.

This is such a rubbish idea. Letting them bin it is surely preferable to this. How hard would it be to go this slow in an F1 car in the wet, actually? I guess they're on full-on downforce setup, but it looks like they're crawling.

I'm actually crying inside. What have they done to the sport I loved?

Would make it a spectacle ala Spa '98 at least. More action in a corner tha in a whole Monaco GP
I come from a minority that prefer racing with the odd crash rather than lots of crashes and a bit of racing wink

Radio 5 keep hopping over to the cricket. They're on their tea break but there is more action in the pavillion than on the Monaco circuit.

Right lets go racing! C'mon DR. And if not I've got same tasty odds on non Mercedes cars for the win.

I feel a bit sorry for Kvyat... he is clearly down on confidence, under massive pressure driving for his career and he is getting very bad luck too. At this rate he will be the latest talented driver that is going to be spit out of F1 at the end of the year. Such a shame, I think he could mature nicely just like Perez or Grosjean.

This is just one step up the ladder of patheticness from the 2005 US GP.

Kvyat is going to have the lap record at this rate. What a farce.

Careful now, or we'll have to send the safety car around your innards.
