Good luck to him. I always thought the BS that goes with F1 didn't sit too well with him. He never looked comfortable with the PR or bravado.

1 WDC is enough. People like Hamilton simply have no perspective on life and think thats all there is. Its just driving around in circles after all.

If the SOB is too cowardly to defend his championship... Then good riddance I say!
Most Champions have defended their crowns... Not always successfully! The ones that didn't were dead...
So... C'mon, you ersatz German! Get it together! PROVE you are worthy of the title! Otherwise... GIVE IT UP! Let those that ARE worthy have it!
Or commit suicide!
The SOB had ALL the "luck" this year and none of the "... unfortunate incidents..." that Hamilton had....
I mean to say... The ONLY engine failure that Mercedes have had in... How long?... And it "... just happened to be Lewis Hamilton..."
Conspiracy boys and girls... Think on it... How much did the "German" team want a (and I quote...) "German" driver to win and boost their Kudos? Who won the War, for f***s sake?
OK, so the most successful champion is a German... So what? He won against all odds in teams that were, when he joined them, 3rd division at best! I RESPECT him... and hope he will fully recover... but all the signs point to him never coming back and being the driver he once was... Then... I wish him a peaceful death... He will NEVER want to be confined.
So... I repeat...

NICO ROSBERG! YOU DAMN' COWARD! DEFEND YOUR CROWN AS YOU SHOULD DO! DON'T RUN AWAY LIKE A LITTLE GIRL!
That's nice, dear.

Well fook me i didn't see that coming although i did say in the last race thread i was looking forward to next year if Nico hadn't burnt himself out this year so i shouldn't really be surprised, this year obv took a lot out of him and with kids and a family now it's a decision he will not live regret (i hope) good you man, go out on a high, lets face it he watched (and helped) Michael come back and leave again a shadow of his former self so why not learn from others mistakes and leave whist still champion and yes i get all the "probably didn't want to be beaten next year", he probably didn't, who can blame hime (well obv there's the children and morons on PH laugh ) it's his life, go nad live it man good on yer biggrin

Really? You remember details of conversations from 18 years ago? Wow.

Man up, guys, it was cheap shot to remind the world that Hamilton is the big cheese.
I do as a matter of fact remember specific things most people do, especially if they are mentioned since which it could very well have been.

I don't see either of the Red Bull drivers wanting to move to merc, reckon the bull will be handy next year. Doubt Mclaren would let Alonso go, same for Vettel and Ferrari. Sainz however might feel theres no space at Red Bull and could do with a move to a top team!
I agree, after Wehlein, Sainz seems like the only possibility. Grosjean could be unhappy at Haas but is just as risky, possibly more-so, and probably more expensive, as putting Wehlein in.

Alonso will have ants in his pants - does he REALLY believe in McLaren?

Enough of all this about Nico,he`s retired,so let us start a pole, who gets the Merc drive? and will it start a merry go round? this is my starter.

This would be dynamite!!!!!!!
But Mercedes better get a good stock of spare parts in... Mind you, it will ensure fewer Mercedes 1-2s
I know it would be highly unlikely to happen, but if it did who would go to Red Bull and who would take that driver`s vacated seat.
Anyone want predict the 2017 driver line up?

Murray is F1. He deserves his own forum, nevermind thread. Love the old Pizza Hut advert with Damon Hill.

Lol Murray.. King of the unfortunate comment,

"And that's the advantage of being in front !" As the car plows off the track a nano second later.

Remember when mansel had banged his head quite badly on the back of the flatbed, Then Murray asked where did it hurt and prodded him straight on the bruise smile
