Still cracks me up that Max says cutting that corner wasn't gaining an advantage so he shouldn't have been penalised.

I'm sure we'll hear that one next year anyway.

It is possible to have a bit patriotism and not be a twunt.
So patriotism for the German NA when the team is British? How about Benetton that became Italian overnight despite being British?

It's got nothing to do with patriotism. That's the point. It is not one country against the other. The cars are not built solely by one country. That much is obvious.

Not yet Moose.

1st free practice we should find out.

But with the classe ‘b’ or formula 1.5 battle at its closest it’s unlikely that anyone will take a tactical.

Although there are rumours that Renault want to run the c spec, so we will see.

bks that is. If you are a racing driver, you see a gap, you go for it. They should put speed bumps on the main straight as well just to increase difficulty smile

Is that genuine? From that angle it looks as though an F1 car could very comfortably still be within legal track limits yet hit the speed bump.

They had to to something about the track limits here cos the drivers always take the piss, especially the exit of turn 1. Not sure this is the best idea though.

But it's not outside track limits..? Well, the bump itself is, but an F1 car hitting it could quite easily not be.

The FIA should ditch the national anthems on the podium. We've had drivers with dual nationality who've suddenly become 100% of the lineage that helps them get a seat. Tony Vandervell said something along these lines about jingoism.

We've had teams change nationality and nothing else. That's farcical.

They can ditch the anthem at the beginning of the race too.

I agree. Instead of putting tarmac areas beyond the track limits, and then putting speed bumps to make sure drivers don't go there, just put gravel. It's a no-brainer.
