Just seen a brilliant tweet from BadF1stats:

Max Verstappen is the youngest driver ever to finish 3rd, 4th, and 5th in the same Grand Prix.

Superb laugh

Re the ongoing discussions regarding Vettel's expletive-ridden tirade at Charlie Whiting, there is a great suggestion in the comments posted on the motorsport.com article about it;

Ban him for the Brazilian GP. And let him work as a marshal during the Brazilian GP. He can wave the blue flag... wink

I'm unsure if a penalty for Vettel is really required or not but if one is given I think a race ban would be too harsh and a fine would be too lenient as given his salary they couldn't fine him enough to make it hurt.

Something like disqualifying him from the Mexico GP and removing his points for 5th place or a grid penalty at the next race would be more appropriate than a race ban IMO.

Why not just ban the team from ego-massaging radio calls? Technical data only. I doubt he'd make the finish.

I have disliked him since the Red Bull "finger" days - why should I stop now?

He is sarcastic. Speaks English and likes England. He has a great sense of humour (for example calling a car Kinky Kylie because it had a nice rear end) and he can drive rather well... What's not to like?

I'm with you. I got bored of the 'finger' during his Red Bull days but he's basically a good old Brit in a German body.

He's a little like this guy smile

Oh and if you watch when him, Nico and Lewis are in the cool down room, which two are joking and playing about? Hint, only one of the Germans.....

Anyone who tells Charlie to fk off and later sends an apology letter deserves to be a PH hero! hehe

When he was out at front in a Red Bull, you only got to see the finger at the end. We missed out on a lot those years.

Not sure why you added the rolling eyes emoticon to this. Are you saying you don't agree with the statement?

It seems fair to me; the FIA acknowledge that it is out of order but no further action will be taken due to his prompt apology.
