Jean-Eric Vergne announces split with Toro Rosso F1 team
Discussion
its a shame that money and sponsorship comes first above a talented driver
Vergne is very quick and no slower than Ricc. put Vergne erne in a top car and he would be well up there. very quick in the wet too and very versatile
to think that morons like Maldanado get a drive and verne does not is crazy.
lets hope talentless wallets like Pastor are not a thing of the future.

My special secret underground sources indicate J-EV might possibly be joining Williams as Test & reserve driver.
Is your special secret underground source the Ted Kravitz notebook segment after the AD GP by any chance? http://www.espn.co.uk/williams/motorsport/story/18...

A shame that British GP2 and 3 winners are not being upgraded into F1...Mini1275 said:
CEPSA were getting cold feet and this brought them back to the table, incidentally or otherwise."Jean-Eric Vergne will join Ferrari's Formula 1 test roster for 2015, with the ex-Toro Rosso racer focusing on simulator work for the Italian team."

Great, I bet he's really looking forward to sitting in a computer all year. How frustrating must it be to end up as a 3rd driver after being an 'actual' driver
It must be but it keeps him around F1, and hopefully he'll get to drive in other series too.Still, he's better than a lot out there, especially when he puts his mind to it, he deserves a drive more than many on the current grid.
