Brand new in 1994, went into receivership and vanished in 1995. One other short lived lineage was Coloni which became Andrea Moda, the team that did for Perry McCarthy's F1 career.

Also Lola in 1997 (if you can call that a start)
March - aka much advertised racing car hoax but really (Max)Mosley , Coaker , Rees and Herd burst on to the scene in 19070. Ambitious- F3 F2 and F1 in first season and current world champion Stewart . Won a GP that year too . Fascinating story as detailed in Mike Lawrence's book on te team , who also competed in FF1600, CAn Am and very successfully in Indy car racing
The March 701 Jackie drove was modified by Tyrrell, it had a different position in the tub for the lower radius rod mount and also ran with a steering damper. The front ARB is mounted in a different place on the lower wishbones to the other 701's and uses a different shape front ARB. The upper mount for the steering column was different, it also had cut outs in the inner tub skin for Jackie's elbows, and also ran fabricated covers for the fuel cell cross over pipes at the top (the normal version had no covers so left them exposed in a crash. It has a series of individual bag tanks in the sides that are linked together). Other mods included extended pedal mounts in the floor to move the pedals more rearwards and the water radiator bleed backs are also different.
I've worked on Jackie's Tyrrell version and the March works car of Chris Amon.
Jackie wasn't a fan of the March, but it's actually a very effective piece of kit for the period and the fundamental design s pretty good. March always built strong tubs, the 761 is a very sturdy piece of kit compared to other 76 spec F1 cars.

And of course the 701 previewed ground effect in a sense as it had the angled wings on the body sides- which if they had been sealed in would have given some ground effect. But the concept went back to a BRM project in which Peter Wright was involved before going to Lotus and the great 78/79 .
The 701 was very much the garagiste kit car but I always thought the space age 711 was the most attractive March F1 car - no wins but lots of seconds in Ronnie Peterson's hands .
