"one of the men leaving the scene was noted to have his index finger constantly pointed..."

Vettel trying to keep hold of the cabinet ware before a stint of no trophies at Ferrari?

Joking aside, it's a real shame and strange, given that you can't sell them, and scrap value would be pretty much nill.

What he said. You can't sell them, you can't show them to anyone, what's the point?

I reckon it's Ron. He's realised it's his only chance of getting his hands on any trophies...........

Apparently the thieves used two cars, a 4x4 and a Mercedes.

A real shame and bizarre - maybe the individuals who carried it out were too retarded to realise they have little £ value so risk getting caught (5-10years jail).

Hopefully they return them or someone shops then in.

I have a fear that now the criminals who did it will destroy/dispose of the trophies to avoid getting caught.

I think with a raid involving 6 men needing two cars to carry out, won't have been orchestrated by dribbling retards who don't know whats worth nicking and whats not.

Question why's intriguing; the two obvious motives would be private collector or personally motivated- the effect of the raid on the victim being the value. Anyone with any other ideas?

Maybe the raid was a cover to steal something more important?

Both cars had foreign plates, maybe they thought the trophies were made of gold or silver?

Vettel, at home, this afternoon..

On a serious note, the above picture was widely used in the press last week, maybe a bunch of guys assumed the scrap value of these would be significant? I can see no possible reason to steal them otherwise.

Apparently they got Pastor Maldanado to crash through the doors due to his experience smile

In all seriousness though what absolute fking scum - they have no real value but represent all the hard work of so many people. I hope they find the trophies as quickly as possible before they're melted down/dumped/hidden forever. I always assume that Bernie has useful people to 'deal' with such situations.
