Are you sure? The old Galaxy used the shared VW platform (same as the Sharan) but I'm sure the new one shares the same platform as the Mondeo and S-Max

There is a new S-Max model due out next year I think which could make the existing model a bit cheaper

As far as I am aware they both share a floorpan and suspension with the Mondeo, with spring and damper rates separating them, dont think it was any different.

Also have a 2.0 TDCI S-Max and very impressed with it. Really good handling for what it is, decent fun to hustle along.

Back row is for kids and as others say not much luggage space with them up, but down it is massive.
