OMG!
I don't fancy being the guy with the rental car's check-in conversation when he returns the Corvette to Switzerland!! 'No sir, there is definitely NO mention on the condition sheet about this fly st...or this scratch...or this...ARGHH'
I'm not a betting man, but I reckon he'll lose his deposit

Strut from the M3 ring-taxi.
There was roadworks, 30km/h zone I think?
A mate just put up photos on imgur.

A few pictures from the Jalopnik comments

The Corvette did get some damage, the picture at the top of the Jalopnik story shows the rear end corner damage. In the first picture in the imgur link it looked like it might have dropped some fluids, going by the track under the back of the car.
Oh one more thing, what was the owner of the VX220 thinking with that colour scheme?!? It looks like a VW Harlequin special edition or something.

That's the problem with the ring... you need to show it so much respect
I've been round there several times, luckily on quiet dry summer evenings and never had any problems. It's only afterwards that you think about the insurance aspect, and what exactly you would do if you hit some random piece of exotica or wiped out a few sections of armco... scary.
