With all due respect, I thought exactly the same thing days ago. You're nicking my ideas!

This subject has been discussed on here dozens of times before. Your 'original' thought has been posted on PH many many times in the past. Ted has simply brought it up in response to a particular trigger.

Besides, any arguments about plagiarism are I'm afraid, futile (even if they were founded). If you check, I think you'll find that Ted has copyright over everything written on PH

Before I start, I cant do quotes, so please excuse my non-quotiness.

Easy, just click the quote box, highlight and delete the bits you don't want, leaving the final [/quote] at the end........

No, because you cant assume copyright merely by asserting the fact.
If you trawl the BBC comment sites etc, you WILL find that the same idea was mentioned about 10 seconds after Darling did his piece to camera.
This is all a tidy smokescreen to retain things like VED, because otherwise this doesnt take account of things like gas guzzling, um..anything but Priuses (Prii?)

Why would you copy something copyrighted?

I dont know wether to laugh or cry? Imagine owning the copyright for all this, it must be like crazy frog, but not knowing what to do with it.

Actually, the evil Petrol Ted stole your idea before you'd even had a change to type it using his latest ESP.asp servers

Now thats just mean. I have been slaving my ass off all day doing f@cking GCSE's, come home and as a bit of a joke make this thread and I get that kinda sh!t!

...and we come home after a hard day of slaving our collective asses off, to find some inept drivel on a sh!t thread.

If you want to moan about your exams then go and find a Yahoo or MSN chat room or something...

IN FACT victormeldrew, your post on that particular forum was 1 hour 30 mins after my post, and there is no other link to a similar thread, so I am unconvinced

I think you'll find that several people have raised the whole "fuel tax is pay-as-you-drive" idea quite a few times, myself included. I think we discussed it last year or possibly the year before.

Do try to keep up, chaps.

As always with this Government, the true agenda is hidden. Road pricing, reduce congestion, yeah right. The underscore is that they'll be able to track your EVERY movement, ALL the time. And average speed - so you'll get nicked for speeding ANYWHERE, no cameras or Plod needed.

I fear my compulsory Govt sender box might meet with a screwdriver accident...
