What, in your opinion, was the best TG moment ever?
I have to say, I think it was the one from years ago when Jezza did the Rocket article.

I think the May/Hammond feature where they had the little bikes and took people home when drunk was bloody genius - i was in absoloute stitches, especially at both their facial expressions. Audi women was brill too "It's not bottom of the range, it's a Sport"

Cheers,
Rob.

Clarksons review of the Ariel Atom was comical, also the Lotus Exige and the Apache was good if a bit pointless (helicopter???)

Personal Best TG moment :

Seeing the Westfield XTR2 on a re-run I'd missed the first time around.

Placed my order about a week later

When Clarkson was in the RR Sport being chased across Salisbury Plain by the tank. Absolutely pissing myself laughing, but an inspired road-test of the car, too.

The new Discovery (I think) being chased round an army training ground by a challenger tank was quite good.

I actually can't think of a really best bit. The original Ring in the Jag thing was quite good - liked the comment that JC was 80% talent free.

The whole thing now, particularly the last series, is just so damned contrived. The WORST MOMENT must have been the Roller-in-the-pool crap.

Other favourite moments almost certainly include James May - decent bloke with a good sense of humour.

No question for me.

Murray Walker's test drive of the McLaren F1 - still available on one of the "best of" DVDs.....

"that was a nice gearchange Murray, I 'm very pleased with that..."

"now... left... right.... and I'm gonna give it some boot coming out of the corner, wooo, whooooahhhhh............ YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

the off road test with quads, hover craft, buggies...

My favourite moments are always when all three presenters are used. I think their personalities and senses of humour work well together, especially when May & Hammond are desperately trying to out-do Clarkson just so they can damage his ego. All of the car vs train/boat/plane ones have been fun.

Patrick Whatisname (or someone else..)saying to JC "The trouble is you're confusing your own opinion with facts" or something similar. Shut Clarkson up

Patrik Kielty, the Irish talkshow host that no one has apparently heard of outside of his appearance on TG? That was pretty funny.
