Shared components???

I know it has proabaly been done before, but the nasty facelifts thread has got me thinking.

What strange component sharing has gone on that we dont really think about??

Fiat Punto and MG SV




Headlight clusters are common.

XJ220 and Rover 214



Rear Light clusters.

It is also roumored that the Front seat airbags on a Corsa VXR are common with a Gallardo, but i dont beleive it and cant proove it.

Well no, your picture was of a computer rendition of a Murcie.
Whereas I already knew the side indicator is a shared item. I was even kneeling on the ground just yesterday cleaning the (front) wheel of an LP640, and thinking to myself at the time - "I own a bit of a Lambo".

I remember the door handles on the Morris Marina were on loads of cars in the 70's, along with the Mini, and somehow the maestro had the gearbox out of the mk2 golf.

That exeo looks like quite a nice place to spend time. But its a bit different, both VAG product, and they never claimed the exeo was anything but a rebadged end of line audi.
