Dated switchgear and a dashboard design that feels like it's been around for decades, I think they could have done a bit better for £685k!
+1Interior looks more like it belongs into a 70K car. Might get away with the carpets and random buttons in a 140k car ... at 685k this is comical.
Not a big fan of Bentleys myself, but looking into one of them feels a lot more expensive for half the price tag.
Wait a minute. AM, on a very limited budget, have come up with a stunning-looking 4-seater saloon with a thumping great naturally-aspirated V12, and all you lot can focus on is that the dash is similar to that of a decade-old DB9? Yet I don't hear complaints about the Rolls-Royce Phantom being as long in the tooth as the DB9, or that the Bentley Mulsanne is little different internally to its predecessors.
If I had 700k to spend, I'd have this over the Mulsanne or Phantom in a heartbeat. Sod the odd bit of Volvo switchgear. If you're more concerned about that than how it drives, you're on the wrong bloody forum!

With respect.... luxo barges are not bought for how they drive, so much as for the quality of their ride (not great in this instance) and their bling and show of wealth, particularly on the inside (not great in this instance)
Contributors here have focused on these aspects precisely because it looks gorgeous and has a engine full of character.
It's an opportunity badly missed.

In the metal it is actually much better looking than pictures might lead some of you to believe (and certainly better than I expected - the AM test centre car was filling up at the pump next to me at an ARAL close to the 'ring last year). Darker colours suit it well, and everyone commenting on its looks from pictures alone might consider reserving further judgement until seeing it in the real world.

This isn't a barge, though. It's a big sporting grand tourer. It is not intended to cosset and while away the miles in hushed calm. It's Aston Martin's answer to the Ferrari FF - only rarer and more exclusive.Contributors here have focused on these aspects precisely because it looks gorgeous and has a engine full of character.

agonda looks imperious in that picture certainly better than the Toyota below...
It is somewhat interesting that the car at the top looks like a very stylish, typical Italian saloon and yet the one under it does look like a fussy and desperate Japanese attempt at a Western car. Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
