£500 and he even sent me six months road tax in the post.
past it's MOT with no fails and advisory for a nail in one of the tyres.
been up and down the country in it a few times now, not bad for my first car purchase.
Excellent find, I do like these
Just out of interest what do people's snotters do to earn their keep? I.e. tip runs? Dog cart? Mile muncher?
Curious as I bought mine for dog cart and it's wound up being:
- trailer lugger
- tip run beast
- transit van for ikea runs
- heavy load mover
- mile muncher
- shopping cart
- taxi
- rental vehicle
Spends 2/3 its time, with roof bars on, seats down and the back suspension wondering why I hate it just do much.
To put it into context an example would be Saturday:
It moved 1t of conifer across town, did the shopping run, the dig cart trip, 120mi motorway journey, transported 5 of us around the area on a night out and finally fetched a new tv.
£900 car must've saved me that in van hire in the last 6 months.
Oh and I got 3 heavy duty pallets on its roof on Sunday, whilst it had a tv, a shop, the dog, the OH and some rubble in the back.
Feel a bit guilty...

I'm not sure it's really a snotter, as it won't be an everyday car, but I was told about an MX5 that might be available for not very much the other day. It's a bit too tempting I think - I've wanted one for ages.
I'll slowly be assembling a garage full of snotter priced "PH" cars. First the Impreza turbo, then an MX5 - I guess I'll have to find a very cheap E38 728i next......

This 2003 Hyundai 2.7 coupe I picked up with 6 months Tax and Mot for bargain of £180 that just needed a new driveshaft oil seal.
And this 1999 saab 93 was £450 T & T which just needed a service and rear brakes sorted out.

The Celica is off the road, I'm not 100% sure what is wrong with it but its a bit borked. The plan is to strip the engine down over the winter, hopefully fix it (depending on what I find) and sell it as a going concern.
Ah, shame. Hopefully nothing too bad. It looked a nice one...they seemed to have vanished off the roads in the last couple of yearsGassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
