I love the black Mazda Rx3. Very cool motor.

What's the going rate nowadays to get one, not a shed but a nice clean example?

A coupé probably £20k and up, the four door is cheaper, e.g.

Sorry if it's a repost not been on this thread for a while.
Sorry - But that's bad - Strange idea in the first place and poorly executed.

No sign of a tailgate so the pick-up bed is barely useable, and I bet it's not flat either - Single metal sheet for the back of the cab, not even a window - Crappy loose wiring on the roll-bar lights ... Bleh!
Nah I like the concept of it, to be fair I've seen much worse pickup ideas executed - although it could do with a functional tailgate

AE86 Levin, having seen videos of them on full opposite lock it does look like a hell of a lot of fun from such an unassuming car. In stock form I'd guess 95% of the people in the UK would think it was just a crappy shopping trolley! Until you reach a T-junction :3

Except those things are about as obscure as an Escort Cosworth without the giant spoiler. Anybody who cares will spot it immediately, everyone else will just see "a car".

Exactly my point. If you tone down the cosmetics of the ae86 you have a great car and without drawing too much attention. Only those who love cars will give you the knowing nod. I quite like that, as well as the police won't stop you for no reason like they might do if you were in a scooby or an Evo.

I'd imagine that is a bit of a handful with the fairly short wheelbase? Bit like a Clio V6 in that sense? I may be talking bks though biggrin. Certainly looks well done.

In my opinion, it looks horrendous!
And the wheels don't suit it.
The 3 series compact has been ugly since day 1, to my eyes.

I like them.

Mind you, I liked the 2000 touring from the 70's too.

The 2000 Tourings certainly are an acquired taste, but I loved mine, even in hearing aid beige.

I had a dark blue one, dropped 3'' and running twin 40's etc. Sadly I have no pics but it was a proper hot hatch.

I'm sure I could build a hot Compact for way less than £15k though.
