If that isn't a shed thats a cracking price for a sub 100k mile E39 Sport Touring.

Somebody needs to get that viewed.

I did try and persuade Mr H, but our research concluded that intregrated child seats deletes ISOFIX so only ideal for 4yr olds!

.... Shame as I thought it looked ideal, disappointing to see it still for sale, history all checked out too

Yes Woody! That 3500 is ace, I could never get bored of turning up to work in that. Someone I know had a very early 3500 and took it to Poland for a full resto - costs did spiral a bit in the end though.

That is quite literally just around the corner from my flat - looks extremely tidy. He has some nice cars on his driveway, bit of an old Rover enthusiast I think. Also has a couple of recovery trucks so he's in the trade.

Thats cheap enough that if its a goodun it won't need to sit around for weeks attracting the right buyer. If its been for sale a while you have to wonder whats putting everyone who sees it off frown

Indeed. Is grey leather generally unpopular? I prefer black but may have gone for that if it had Isofix.

I don't know what the market thinks of grey leather but I hate it. It always looks mucky and glossy even after a good clean. Even on much newer stuff.

Mines fine after 11yrs..... Just about to hit 100k

Wears better than beige

Now I tend to find black goes shinny

Let's face it, at this age/mileage you can't get too hung up on exterior, never mind interior, take em as you fund em!

It tends to age better than the contemporary black and beiges:

The market doesn't tend to love it much and in later cars than these, I'm not much of a fan either - generally preferring more colourful options like Caramel, contrast carpeted Champagne, Red and so on. I seem to be one of very few individuals who like the M5's Silverstone interiors, likewise its equivalents in E60 and F10.

However, if the rest of the car were in good condition and a desirable spec, it wouldn't necessarily render it a no-buy for me.
