My parents bought a brand new 1975 Hillman Hunter. I can't remember where the radio was located in the car, but I do remember it was mono only, it had one dash speaker, and it had a handle on the front to pull it out of its case so you could use it outside the car hehe

It looked like this, but from memory it was AM only:

They were manual pre-sets which moved the tuner to 'approximately' the right location to pick up a chosen station hehe

I always fancied an old Espace, in an 'Oil Tanker Captain' kind of way. Or, god forbid, a Vel Satis. Either way stereo location wouldn't matter too much, as they've probably all gone wrong now.

I'm not sure what's better, the location of the radio, or the sinclair spectrum inspired interior?
Check out the phone too!!

It's the mid-80s and bodykit manufacturer BB decides that the Mk2 Polo's standard dashboard is a little on the staid side. It does however have a very well positioned head-unit (it's just difficult to work out what the hell everything else does...).

HaHa - brilliant! That steering wheel looks dangerous... It also looks like an HP Reverse Polish Notation Calculator - takes some mastering that's for sure! - not recommended to use whilst driving!
