My target is to get to 186K miles.... a light second. On 114K with my current car, closest I've got so far is 140K on a S4 Audi Avant.
That's gloriously geeky, I quite approve.

I would like to hit 238,855 miles, the distance to the moon. I only do about 6k a year though and the 740i would bankrupt me getting it there

137,500 miles on my 350Z. Still as sweet as a nut.

Off the top of my head my lot are something like this:
Nearly run-in with 162k on the S60
Almost run-in with 150k on the Golf
sub 50k on the XC90

The current Impreza is on 101k miles and change (hit 100k just before I took it to the 'Ring) and both my previous ones were over 125k (this is of course despite the fact that all scoobs self destruct at 75k rolleyes) and the Clio is on 121k

Volvo is about to pass 150K and the MG is coming up on 120K.

My OH gave me quite a lot of grief for buying the Volvo with 138K on but in this country you can buy high mileage cars for peanuts because everyone else thinks the same.

Thanks, that means a lot smile As it goes through that barrier I'll know exactly how fast I'm going but will have no idea where I am.

My 1978 MGB GT is currently on just over 125,000 miles...although I don't think much of the under-bonnet stuff has done that much!

The one on the left in this photo has done 483000km. I'm hoping to get to 500000.

All three have in total more than 900000.

I bought a 2002 CRV Exec on 124k in April. It's about to hit 127k now. My first high miler purchase and I love it.

It runs smooth as anything, and has given me no grief, unlike 2 brand new Golfs and a Polo fresh from the VW showroom in the same period of ownership.

I'm aiming to reach 200k in it now.

Previous cars include:

320d Sport - sold on 113k
330ci Sport - sold on 103k
330ci Sport - sold on 168k
e46 M3 - sold on 102k

Mileage is nothing if the car is properly looked after!!

Current Golf R32 is on 99,700, so will be on 100k by the weekend.

My VW Bora 1.9 TDi PD130 currently has 161k on he clock. FVWSH untill 122k, then VW Specialist Indy SH untill 150k, then mikeyplum "special" servicing since that. It runs as sweet as a nut caught in a blender and I'm sure will see 200k with ease biggrin

Might need a new Clutch and DMF in the interim though. Oh, and some bushes here and there. And maybe an alternator pulley. But other than that - top motoring biggrinhehe

When I lived in Dubai I noticed the quite young Toyota Camry taxi I was in had over 300000Kms (186’K) on the clock.

The driver said the car was six months old and the car was run 24hrs a day with different drivers just handing over with it running.
The engine was only turned off for oil changes. I was impressed.

My old Forester has just went through 175,000.

Sadly I don't think it'll see 200k, ominous bearing noise getting worse over the last 5k. Only bought it as a temporary runabout but ended up getting quite attached to it.

By my calculations that`s an average speed of 42mph for 24 hours a day over a 6 month period, surely not

Does the Mini have a BMW engine? I took a Mini One cylinder head off a while ago (Rover/Chrysler engine) to find that all the exhaust valves were shot, on an 80K mile engine!
