Right, i'm getting some and doing my wheels. I have a Focus ST170, the wheels are known to be pretty flaky, plastidip win, the only question is do i do them in a sensible colour like this?
http://www.plastidip.co.uk/eStore/index.cfm?type=H...
Or in one of these colours because i'm a massive child?
http://www.plastidip.co.uk/eStore/index.cfm?type=H...
I think we know where this will end up.
It's gotta be this surely:http://www.plastidip.co.uk/eStore/index.cfm?type=H...

Do it Gus!
Get paid on Tuesday will decide on colour then. After that it is off to FB to borrow some axle stands, i think i will try the first attempts with the wheels removed.

No they didn't. They've always looked cheap and tacky. And this Impreza just look awful. The OP has been taken for a right mug too, paying £1500 for the job! Jesus wept...
Bet it was a freebie... and if you are gonna have a free temporary colour change... why not go crazy! I can see how the OP was thinking...BUT its a massive fail. Looks totally and utterly minging

Matt colours used to look quite cool
Nope they've always been unber-chavy.There's a bloke near me who's just turned a perfectly nice looking Bentley Continental (was finished in deeply glossy black) into a matt turqiose chav chariot. It looks so unbelivably gash I was considering taking a picture and posting it here. But the I realised he'd probably think I like it and that might encourage him.

I like it, but then I would, my car is painted in matte red graffiti paint.
For those saying he has ruined it, its only a car! He hasn't ruined it at all, he just made it a little different.
Careful, you'll anger the people in the "Stupid things none petrolheads say" thread. For those saying he has ruined it, its only a car! He hasn't ruined it at all, he just made it a little different.
And worrying about resale values is why we've ended up with everyone driving a silver diesel hatchback in a spec chosen by the salesman.
I damaged my old alloys badly so ordered a few tins of black to spray then with.
Lasted the 4 months it took me to replace them with no peeling.
It is a royal pain to peel off after that long though. If its thick enough (which this appears to be) it should be a lot easier.
Might order me some purple and spray the spares for winter use now.

It now looks as if it has been 'tangoed' by the blackcurrent brigade Oh and the nice people who charged you £1500 for the privalage, was the boss man called george osborne by chance and were his little army of helpers all wearing white coats and latex gloves , they usualy do wear the extra long latex gloves when they shaft someone and you my son have been bloody well and truly shafted by an expert.
And you wander why it never took off on this side of the pond!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
