Always thought the transition of the B6 A4 to the B7 was one of the more passable efforts

That's a new model. They didn't facelift the b6, or the b7, the b8 ( the first with led running lights ) has been facelifted so it becomes the b8.5

Despite the new model code, the b7 is essentially a revised b6, albeit quite extensively - note that the side profile and interior remain largely unchanged.

yep I'd definitely class that as a facelift, albeit a substantial one!
