Here is a full colour photo of Govan Road. Yes, it is a lot like your parents Christmas photos from the '70s. That's what Govan looks like in the present day.

I thought it would make a great photo- the sheer avant garde modernity of the Ignis against such a gritty backdrop.

(Oh, and I live here.)

Given the slightly dodgy location (I mean they nicked the statue of Clyde FFS, and it was nailed down) how do you go in terms of security? Have you fitted a tracker, data dots etc?

Or is it a case of the local Neds all show the vehicle the respect it (and yourself obviously) deserve?

No need to answer if you feel it may compromise your, or the car's, safety.

PS you are a legend.

Look, don't be so impertinent to the legend as to presume you can question his authority. Respect his authorataay. The neds do, as should you.

here we are just leaving the chateau after a pleasant evening talking about the finer details of the revolutionary chassis technology pioneered by the ignis.

Is that chassis 7505 lurking in the background there? I'm sure Tashimoto-san said that he flared the rear arch almost imperceptibly, as a nod to his daughter, the rearmost yellow example looks very much like it may be the one. Glad it's being used and isn't just being dry-stored in a hermetically sealed bubble, like so many fortunate owners, albeit totally missing the point of ownership IMVVHO.

Chassis 035 has had the geometry modified, unlocking almost m3 csl levels of pace down your typical British b road.

Good morrow my liege. A question if I may, if it's not too early and you're well rested? What are your views on branded versus non-branded screenwash, do you favour the former in the Ignis e.g. "CarPlan", or do you also use generic versions such as Tesco's or Sainsbury's?

Also, do you tend to the ready-mixed variety, or use the concentrate and add the water yourself? I used to swear by a drop of Fairy liquid in the washer reservoir but have since read this can lead to premature wiper blade degradation so now avoid this! Thanks in advance.

Chunj, sir - another question if I may; with regard to the above comments on geometry, I believe that your particular chassis has the non-aero profiled track rod arms; have you, as an acknowledged expert in the field, ever considered fitting the arms to your Ignis, and if so what would you consider the perceived benefit will be?

Thanks for reading.

Dear Chunj, a friend of mine called Horatio Fellatio has a terminally ill son. On his bucket list at number 8743 of 8743 things his son would like to do before he carks it, is to sit in an Ignis, even if just for 1 second (in fact his preference would be just 1 second).

If you would let my friends son sit in your awesome vehicle he would probably nosh you off. As would his Dad.

Please please please sir, do get in touch.

Mr C, thank you in advance for the honour of considering my question.

Were you mortally offended last night that James May didn't personally ring you to feature your car on his BBC2 show regarding micro cars?

There was a significant feature on Japanese K cars, one would assume 59 mins of the programme could have been devoted to yours ?

(might have been better than the actual programme.......)

Sir Chunj of Govan,

Have you considered pulling the trigger on a Suzuki branded timepiece, to complement your mighty steed and further immerse yourself in the brand?
I don't want to speak for his royal greatness, however he has previously said he doesn't like posh watches and prefers to tell the time via the position of the sun. Which is probably why he's always late.

The ignis is back in secure storage (my parents driveway) while I'm in Aberdeen on business. I shall reply to your questions once I have made some executive decisions (surveyed some water meters).

Good to know your taking care of such a rare and amazing oppurtinity, please tell, the car cover you use(I assume you have one) is it nylon or do you prefer the absorbing qualities of cotton?

I would like to point out that the Man is away on very important business so I feel I can answer any questions being that I have stalked him for years know him well.

If you're wondering about pulling triggers or pushing buttons one one of these cars then forget it. If you have to even think about twisting the lever with regards to getting a machine of this importance then it's not the car for you - face it, you're a peasant.

I've heard a rumour the Man has licked his lips at a Qashqai but of course I'm not going to tell;)

Chunj, have any customer cars been independently weighed, just curious if there was any disparity between the quoted figure and the actual factory figure?

Cheers.

First of all can I thank you for taking the time to come on here and discuss your Ignis. I think I can speak for all of us when I say that I simply can't wait for your responses.

Could you tell us please - at what point did you decide to pull the pin and take the Ignis option? What influenced you most and made you take that over, say, a Citroen C3 VTR? Your technical insight would be most enlightning.

Again, thankyou for taking the time to answer.
