As for the Italian cars, I believe they have all been sold on. Those 3 were also all rust buckets and the lowest road worthy examples of their kind.
Richard Hammond kept the yellow Ferrari and has restored it, although I think of the three cars it would have required the least work to bring it up to scratch.

I don't know whether he's still got it.
He overtook me in it on the M4 I didn't realise who it was until after he overtook and I thought it was a midget driving! hehe

th BL cars of that era strike me as being indicative of a self destructive industry that could have been world class. the contempt i feel for the protagonists of that era cannot be eloquently expressed.

No matter the atual car itself, i am all for the destruction of every BL car in history, publicly and fully ackowledging how the british population and work force destroyed our own manufacturing future.

The allegro and princess and endemic to a period of what should be national shame.

Will it be part of a Austin Rover piece, or more likely have a launch tube stuck up it's arse and just be another car dartbiggrin

We prefer 'quintessentially british' to 'pointless personified' - but yeah, I get your drift. Personally the proudest (pointless) moment in my life was handing over an obseen number of beer tokens to Suffolk County Customs to fit remote control automatic gas powered lambo doors to Gulf 06 (the funny blue allegro). I'll try and stick something on You Tube. We're now looking for around £10K to get us under a 10 second quarter (santa pod speak)and some new wags.
