Well, at the risk of being trampled on, I love my Juke. 187 bhp fully loaded and small enough for the urban roads. (My other car is a 1991 Eunos) Yes I understand that BOTH cars could be seen as girly, but they both as quick as 5h1t thru a goose and that works for me.
187hp! Is that a diesel or petrol? Just a re-map or some other work as well?

Didn't realise that they were actually doing it, thought it was one of those marketing exercises that provokes opinion and then everyone forgets about.

I want one of these so badly!

I really do hope that Nissan make these, and if Range Rover are thinking of making a sporty evoque there must be some sort of market for them.

Hats off to Nissan, gotta be the only manufacturer that is willing to produce such cars.
The juke looked weird in pics but after seeing a few in the flesh I must say I like it-fun in a good way, always thought it had a hint of Paris-Dakar about it.
Also is the Juke not quicker than a Cooper S round a track? sure I read that somewhere, correct me if I am wrong.
All I need to say is that I want the GTR, want want want, and if I win the lottery I will hace a garage full of supercars/exotics but I will also have a Juke GTR for destroying every audi/merc/bmw/porsche on the road smile

Standard 1.6 Turbo petrol has 187bhp.

So it does! It took me ages to find the specs on the (hopeless) website, by which point I was so confused I only saw the KW figure!

I'd rather a Cube with GT-R running gear etc, to be honest.
you should already have a cube at home - go in the kitchen - close your eyes and open the door of the fridge - there yet? even comes with fridge magnets - says nissan on the back of the mobile fridge

These videos are a strange blend of cool and cringe for me. We just don't have the cool steely mechanics with character they seem to have in Japan and Germany.

Actually we do, just not at Nissan biggrin

I dunno, I think I'll have to disagree.

In this world of boring small engined eco bks, this is absolutely awesome.

I think the car is weird looking (in a good way) and the fact they are welding it onto a GT-R chassis and running gear should only be applauded. It's a bit of fun at the end of the day.

I bet it will be awesome fun to drive.

Love it. Glad to see some car makers still up for doing bonkers cars that make no sense at all. Who cares its a one off.

For the record I'd love a standard Juke......did I just say that aloud, guess I did.... Well I've always had a thing for odd or different to the norm cars.

I like the Juke - it's nice to see something that looks different from the rest.....and a super Juke looks like a great idea!

Make it Nissan!

Loving this idea. Its a strange looking car the juke but i like it because of that. This idea great and something that all car manufacturers should and need to be doing.

What a brilliant idea to make us all sit up and take notice of a company which has an enormous history in motorsport so it is about time they capitalised on that success by bringing something interesting and more affordable to the market. Apparently what they are trying to do is build a niche sporty brand based on cars of the future to be built here in Europe, kind of the equivalent to Renault Sport.
I really hope they succeed because there seems to be a lot of petrol head passion behind this effort.

I guess everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but it strikes me as a fantastically mad Q-car.

Personally I'd much rather have something with GT-R performance that looked like a Juke than something with Juke Performance that looked like a GT-R. wink

What a waste of a great engine....it maybe going to be the fastest crossover but its still pig ugly and not exactly practical with that bloody great roll cage in it.

Waste of time and money....who is going to give a toss?

I always wanted a group B rally car - specifically a Metro 6R4.

This would be a modern equivalent but built by Nissan - so it'll work reliably and not need frequent gearbox builds. As a second car - yes please! As long as it was stealthy, not all angles and spoilers like a GT-R.

I'd have one, wouldn't pay ca. £70k for the privilege though, assuming it's on par with teh GTr.
