Hopefully a file will go to the CPS for prosecution under Section 68(1) Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994.
Maybe the girl whose car he was driving could also be done for aiding and abetting. Daft bint.
It would be interesting to see whether driving around the circuit would be viewed a sufficiently secondary act to the trespass itself in order to satisfy the offence.

Of course, the people running the circuit may have grounds to sue the guy for trespass, although the usefulness of that is more likely governed by the likelihood of a young man with a Polo having anything of value to sue for than anything else.

Why does everything on here have to be a conspiracy theory? Remember the dashcam one where people were adamant that it was a viral one too?

Just as an aside, having been to Brands many times both as a spectator and on track I believe the only way to get a car into the paddock behind the pits is via the tunnel, so how did these idiots get their car into the inside of the track in the first place? I would have expected the marshals on the outside of paddock hill bend to have prevented this.

Seems like a slam dunk for aggravated trespass, they've even got the offender's own evidence (even if he takes it down). Maybe one of the resident beaks would like to comment?

That boat race protestor got 6 months inside albeit at a much more prominent event, so hopefully this clown will get similar. It's the only way to teach these mongs.

I guess Brands/event organisers could sue him for the costs of abandoning and restarting the race.. That won't be cheap.

Sump earlier;

Replace 'humans' with 'some "humans"' and it's certainly true...

Doubtful she'd get prosecuted, what's she supposed to do - bail out of the car? She wasn't a willing participant in spite of being in the car in the first place.
Sorry, but that's rubbish. Her car: her keys. The first place is who she allows to have access to them. She needs to be more circumspect.

The real losers in this are going to be the fans who currently (or previously) enjoyed unfettered access to the pit garages etc at races like this, the least Brands can do is ramp up the security there.
Agreed. If so, it will be another instance of the overwhelming majority of genuine fans being disadvantaged by one utter pillock.

What an utter tool "living every day like its his last" at the expense of other people simply enjoying theirs.
Maybe karma will come in to play and his wish will be granted. As long as he doesn't take an innocent third party with him.

If it were me it would be climbing mountains and parachuting etc, real stuff not arsing around and spoiling peoples sport. I expect this is a tag line so he can say he is "out there" and "mad" and "crazy". In 20 years time he will have this to look forward when real people living life like its their last will have vistas from the top of mountains for memories a hurtling towards the earth.

Usual caveat that if someone pops up and says terminal this that or the other then still not the done thing.

She would need to have encouraged the behaviour, something which is plainly missing in the video evidence. In fact, it's quite the opposite. From what I can see she's neither guilty of the primary offence (she has none of the required intent) nor of joint enterprise.

Absolute morons.

I'm no lawyer but I'd have thought something to do with endangering lives (other racers, their own) could be nailed to them, given their own evidence.

And it's nice that the local mouth breathers in PH are helpfully identifying themselves in threads like these.

"I think it's great"

"Well, you've got to laugh"

"I'm not saying what he did was clever"

A 192.com search is quite interesting. Follow through on the other names and you'll see from the latest entry that Jack has disappeared...

Unfortunately the internet is full of spoof vids and pics made with clever software, so you get programmed to think this way until proved otherwise frown
Seems this one is real from the statement on Brandshatch website
