Not the best of pictures, but this was just up the road from where we used to live. It was there when we moved in 2009 and looked like it had been there a long time before.
That could be a car my father owned once.A Panda Sergio Tacchini limited edition with the loudest green seats imaginable. It was bought from Measham BCA in about 1991/2 and was great fun.I think a dealer had registered a few with DAN on the number plate used them for a while and put them into the auction with about 10,000 miles on them.Great car and I'd love another one.
This doesn't exactly fit this particular thread but what the hell, I was reading it and thought I'd toss this in...

Back story is, it's a bus from the 50s/60s that my uncle drove for a while when it was in service. He bought it when it went out of service for sentimental reasons and "parked" it in my grandad's field (in Devon) but then went to live in Birmingham where he's been ever since. It's not moved since at least the 70s I should imagine. My grandparents are no longer with us and the land belongs to my dad, auntie and two of the three uncles, but they can't get their act together to get it sold (much to my dad's, and my, annoyance). Once of the issues being that my uncle refuses to do anything with the bus. He wants to keep it, has talked of moving it (yeah, good luck with that), but he's hundreds of miles away and has just recently had a stroke too. I've often joked that we should either just set fire to it or find some local gypsies to come and break it up for scrap (amazed they haven't already frankly!).

Here's another one for sleepera6 - not a million miles away from the others he's posted...

IIRC the tax disc was 1995 - it went soon after that pic was taken, when the house was sold.
Then there's the A40 through Oxford.

Gawd knows how long that's been there...
At least seven years...

Remembered seeing this years ago and I reckon it's still in there, toggle the years of streetviews lol -

what a find!
Although I may have found something similar...
A load of old JDM stuff, unregistered, abandoned.
They're not abandoned. They're owned by Garage D. If you go in the gates they've got loads of Japanese cars and parts laying around - mad place.Although I may have found something similar...

This isn't their only store of cars and parts either, here's another photo of some of their cars.
Julian the owner has an incredible collection, but some of these are customer's cars too.
Supra abandoned in Kings Langley.
I've spoken to the owner's wife regarding buying it. She said her husband would be in touch but never was. I've been told he has a sizable collection of cars and before the Supra was left in this spot a Ferrari he owned was left there.
Supra abandoned in Bedmond.
I've tried many times to contact the owner to no avail. Sadly he's known as a recluse so can't see the car ever moving or being sold now.
Supra abandoned near the London Eye.
This hadn't moved for years until circa a year ago when it disappeared.

That makes me sad. Like it's an old persons car outside a nice little bungalow and they're bed-bound inside, the car sits outside waiting to be driven to the seaside or somewhere nice. There's a good one for this thread a few streets away from me.
The house doesn't look like it's bee touched for many, many, maaaany years (but i think someone does still live there)
The streetview is from 2010, but i remember that the wooden bits around it used to actually be a wooden garage which has collapsed over time.
To me it looks like a small van. Or a car with a van body on the back? Anyone got any ideas what it is?
I've lived here for 30 years and to my mind, it's always been there. The house is also the only one out of any of them still with it's original windows etc.
We're talking a serious number of years here.
If we know what the van is, might give us an idea of timings, etc.

Sad sight near me, I presumed the owner must be dead inside the house because its a right state but apparently it belongs to an active local councillor! (Not sure what that imply's about local politics...)
Street view images are 2016 and 2009 but they've been there since the late 90's if memory serves, not sure what the two infront of the Rover are, probably more in the garage :-(

Years and years ago when I was a kid living at home, there was a stretch of wasteland behind our house which we spent most of our summer evenings in.
Buried in the long grass, with grass growing up through the rotten floor was a classic mini clubman in baby blue and faded evidence of what must have been an old company name or logo.
Wish I had a photo, but we didn't have camera phones back then!
Would go back, but the wasteland is now a housing estate

On the way into Thanet at the end of Manston airport runway there is a strange house in the tree surrounded by old mercs, Volvos, jags. Looks like the guy buys old barges, runs them till they break and buys a new one, leaving them one by one to rot away. Have heard he was a famous wrestler in the 70s?

Talking about Modern Micras....
I see this abandoned on a driveway in Enfield North London where the house looks just as bad as the car itself, the Micra is a 57 plate I think, its now fenced up and the place looks a mess and it has been years in that state. No idea on the back story though.
Also see this:
57 plate C class, not moved in years, its in a fairly bad state though picture doesn't show it much, its parked on a driveway and forgotten.

Spot the old Series ? land rover in this house. If you look at the house, on prime street in Oxford, I think the owner has passed away and family don't know what to do with the place.
