Buying a 5 series from a used car dealer at the moment.. might be able to redeem the trade after my last experience.. maybe.
Bought an M3 a few months back and the guy told me plenty of stories and lies, I dont think a single thing he said was true, and I ended up paying for it with a total lemon.. and how many "new MOT's" are actually done properly? must be a special rubber stamp ready for these things as I doubt they actually look at the car.. just my experience of course I'm sure.. although having owned 26 cars and bought a good percentage from dealers it's not something that im just assuming from 1 bad experience.

Wollaston BMW in Northampton have a Z4 sDrive28i stickered up on the front display area at £349 deposit and £349/month.
Its definitely the 28i as I was sorely tempted myself, but a little out of reach for me at the moment in all honesty.
Thanks ever so much for this info Tom. I spoke to Bob Thompson at Wollaston this week who seemed a top guy. Not sure what the deal is on that s28i, but unfortunately my s23i seems to have lost about £7k in the last year, so the 'part ex deposit' was a lot less than I was expecting, and when you spec one of these up to the equivalent spec (connectivity packs, pdc, heated seats ...) the monthly price rockets. Its definitely the 28i as I was sorely tempted myself, but a little out of reach for me at the moment in all honesty.
In the end wasn't going to work for me, but for anyone who is happy with the basic spec (which to be honest isn't bad) and an 8k pa mileage allowance it is a cracking deal!

17 cars for £515,000 so far this month, it really is busy.
The clue is in the detail. Average sales price of 30K on, I am assuming, used stock? It paints a fairly predictable picture of the rich are less affected by the rising cost of living and are buying up stuff while it is at a good price? Or am I reading too much into it?LHD said:

Stuff at the closed auctions is selling for daft money (over retail in some cases)
We've take on a lot of non-franchise gear (sports cars, hot hatches) that do sell well but quality used Jag stock is almost impossible to buy at sensible money.
Autotrader Scam, anyone had this happened:
Suddenly started getting loads of calls from Autotrader today from customers on cars I dont have, took reg numbers etc then checked online and someone has uploaded about 10 cars to our site, Fiat 500 for £3990 and loads at ridiculous prices.
Also cleverly changed the footnote on the site to say we are busy and must E-mail direct on their E-mail address to get details about the car.
Causing no end of chew and hassle today.
