Well, glad you're busy. 5 of us in today and only one car sold.

Worst news is that I will be giving up my Clio RS this week and have no idea what I'll be driving frown

With the brands I work with - Jaguar, Land Rover, Lexus, Toyota, Mini, BMW, VW, Audi, Ford, Toyota, Mercedes it's apparent those having the best time - sales, profit, insurance products, finance are the more premium brands - especially Mercedes

BMW 730d and 640d SE's for £439pm on CH over 30 months with £2,500 down!!!! When you bear in mind that a similar £500 on PCP usually buys you about £25k worth of used car at BMW, this is a cracking deal!

640 looks a cracking car for that kind of money.

Blimey. They're pumping some serious dosh into those, given that they must be £60k motors and I don't see them having RVs in excess of £45k two and a half years down the line.

Marginal costing I guess. That said the F10 may be killing the 7, they look the same and the F10 probably drives better and is more acceptable in terms of economy/image in these present times

Possibly, they were spunking out 530d GT M Sports recently for £300pm, which at face value is ridiculous VFM for a car that lists at £50k.

I've just invoiced 17 into March, 4 new from stock and 13 used. Some good F&I (pulled £1000 finance comm out of a used Megane RS250) in there also, I'm reckoning will be the best earning month so far this year. The biggest struggle has been finding used stock, fortunately quite a few independents have unknowingly helped out, letting prime stock go for less than cap clean biggrin

Ditto on best ever month to date! Finally sold a new 3 series from stock, did two 7ers, and for the first time every had all my f&i's above 60%! Also sold a new petrol x6, which is a rarity! With my quarter bonus rolled in, my commission slip will outweigh the gross profit I brought in for the company.

I wouldn't have wanted to be a Used exec in March, with us New car guys having the advantage of strong finance deals and a new number plate in our favour.

Been a fantastic month/quarter for us. Since the start of January our new car sales have been pretty phenomenal, especially compared to the last 18months or so. Used has been slow, but we have still managed to get a good chunk of 2-3year old stock away, its the Ex-Demo less than a year old stock that we are struggling with at present.
We have went quiet over the last couple of weeks though. I was gutted yesterday, had a couple come in Friday night just before closing and worked out a deal on a new Astra. Explained the situation with the end of the quarter etc. and that the car carried a £1,000 discount which would expire if the car was not registered by the 31st. They still wanted the night to think about it (which is fine), however I explained that the latest they would have on the Saturday to decide (due to taxing etc) would be 10:30am. Sods law they phoned and said they wouldn't be in until 11:30am, very tight but still do-able, they eventually came in at half 12, took a 30minute test drive and came back saying they would buy it (by this time it was after 1pm), went to tax the car and there was an issue on AFRL, and the Vauxhall AFRL help desk closed at 1pm. If only they had came in on time.

March was my best month in terms of profit since last August, although the month itself finished quietly.

Well pleased - 17 cars but made the same profit overall as i did on 26 back then.

Cash flow still a major problem for me, but i've some solutions for this that i'm going to work on this month.

Heading towards a year self employed now!
