they are actually the only family I know that owns a car like that can actually justify it
So a 2litre diesel people carrier wouldn't have done the job as well as the four wheel drive, 3tonne SUV?
My post said that given the choice of the 3, I don't begrudge them buying the better quality car given that the money isn't an issue for them. If they'd ben a couple with no kids tooling around in a massive SUV when they didn't need the space etc, then I could understand why people would have aproblem with it. I actually don't care, i used to get annoyed by RRs etc in London, but life's too short. Like I said, I just don't like the Q7 period because it's a soft roader, but that's my personal taste smile
anyway, I drive the X5 when I have the whole family (perhaps with an extra body or two) to ferry round. If it's just me or just two or three of us, I take the DB9 because it's so much more economical....

....Oh wait, it isn't. It's just life-affirming.

These with all the decals. Usually found with knuckle-draggers driving.

I think the range goes something like Animal, Warrior, Barbarian and Ccensoredk scensoredr...?

Agree 100% they usually sport a shaven head and permanent angry face in a bid to look 'hard' unfortunately they just look like Craig Fairbrass with downs syndrome

Todays knob.
First, todays knob stops on a freeway slip road to talk on his phone. Not to one side but right in the middle of the road.
Second, knob, reacting to my horn, moves off and joins the freeway and after 200 yards indicates to move into the second lane, still on phone, and pushes an SUV off the road with lots of sh#t flying and everone behind having to anchor up.
Fortunately SUV driver managed to keep control and merge back onto the freeway.

Knob still totally oblivious of what a complete t##t he is. rantingcensoredranting

Sorry that was two things.

Followed a 335d this morning. Labelled 335d with a M3 badge right next to it headache

Scary thing is, people who don't know much about cars will probably see this and be impressed. Not as stupid as some people may seem!

Yes, everyone is entitled to one. You don't have to agree with it. If you dislike it then don't respond.

This comes up a fair bit. I drive an auto and I am not going to put it into park, alarming other motorists by thinking I am going into reverse just to keep you happy. Thank Lord you provided a photo as I wasn't sure how to visualise it.

I'm sure only one thing would come into many minds when they see you driving the Aston Martin. Doesn't mean all other AM drivers are cocks, yet alone generalising by where a car is made. In your World are all Italian cars rust buckets and all Skoda's Czech-born tat?

Just as bad, if not worse: we know what car you are driving...you're driving it.

I cannot stand people who brake on motorways when coasting would have easily covered the required speed drop AND saved you fuel AND stop these unnecessary tailbacks.
