Every time i re-read the advert this feeling of insantiy comes over me and I want it. I know it will be ruinous with my attitude to cars but I still want it.

It's a good job that's sold already or I'd be trying to explain to the OH why we were picking up a knackered M5 this weekend!

I'm sooooooo happy that sold! Otherwise my overdraft would be taking a hammering!

M5 for shed money. Don't think so. Seats are nice though...

I think everyone forgot the most obvious comment about this one...

"How hard can it be?"

Love M5's of all generations (E39 being my favourite), but surely that number plate is worth more than the car?

Which is cheaper and more reliable/fun/rewarding to own? A BMW E39 540 or the E34 M5?

Two separate clauses and entities there. They correspond.

Like the idea obviously but what next a collection of Porsche parts in a basket?

This isn't roadworthy.

Great shed! Has anyone on PH ever purchased a PH shed? I'd like a follow up story.
Me (twice) with many follow-up stories. Also I believe pSyCoSiS bought the E30 325i track day car from a few months back, and an E32 &35i from 2009 has been through the hands of various PHers...

...I'm sure there are others, too... if you're out there, and you bought an SOTW-featured car PM me, and we might well do some sort of follow-up feature smile
I brought this SOTW E32 735i to PH in 2009 if that's the one you mean:

I seem to recall you came and saw it (in a Focus RS, very nice), Laird bought it from me, LHD bought it from him, thence to another PHer unknown to me. Glad to know the old girl's still out there and yes I do still miss her. paperbag

M5...mmm. A friend of mine has one of these growing moss at the end of his garden...what a waste.

Worth a grand all day*.

* if you can wield a spanner or 2.

That M5 for £1k is the best shed ever, period.

Of course it will have faults, thats why it is £1k.

Most cars with no faults for £1k have "Corrola" or similar on the back!
