Off to to the big smoke on Saturday. Have a few hours to kill before the football. What's the best place to spot something unusual? I've done the usual knightsbridge crawl far too many times. Will be stopping in at HR Owen as they usually have something unique in, not sure where else to go.
There is a bike ride on and a lot of the roads around will be shut

Saw a Jaguar XK 220 on the road last night, and I think it is perhaps the first time I have seen one on the road, and since seeing the silver one at the Birmingham Exhibition centre when it was first launched.
It is quite large, so I cant believe I wouldn't have noticed one before on the road if one had come past me at some point.

My neck of the woods! Locksbottom - I believe the 458 and R8 owner(s) are related - regularly meet up there (one usually in a new Ferrai of some sort)
Not the two you're thinking of.

Oz (surprisingly, seeing as he's had every new Fezza in LHD - while his RHD is on order - since the 355) is in an Aventador. I've seen this a few times now near Orpington station.

Unusual wise IMO I'd go to the back streets around Berkeley Square in Mayfair, some of the back roads in Chelsea and Fulham (off Fulham Rd + near South Ken tube station rather than the usual Harrods stuff) and also Maida Vale if you don't mind a short tube trip out of town.

Dodge Challenger SRT.
Loads over here in the US and the V8s sound very nice as well.

Dodge Challenger methinks... could be humdrum, could be an SRT-8... I like, but not supercar in my book.

No pictures, I was driving, but chased a Wiesmann GT up the A1 Autobahn going back to Dortmund from the 'Ring on Sunday. Very beauty. Much want. cloud9

On the Hyde Park showroom they have the Pininfarina Sergio at the moment.
Excellent, is that showroom where they don't allow any photography inside?

I'd forgotten about that! I'm hoping to spot something nice parked up though.

Cheers. The usual exotica is nice to see but gets boring quickly.

Fleeting glimpse of a yellow RS200 (K200***) I'm certain this has been spotted before, IIRC normally at car shows.

Today it was actually being driven on a public road smile

Strange. Blue is my favourite colour. Have had mainly blue cars. Gt3 is my favourite car after GT3RS but that just doesn't do it for me. Might be the picture, but the first blue car that doesn't seem to work for me.

After all these years the 911 is finally losing its appeal, it has drifted too far now. Prefer the Cayman now.

Saw a Ferrari 550 Maranello today in Bolton , A10BAL , on closer inspection it was a 1 of 10 (in the uk) World speed record edition complete with maroon sports racing seats and factory fitted roll bar, photo to follow ASAP , very rare car and no idea what it was doing in Bolton! Interesting spot for these parts smile
