My uncle's ramshackle little hut he's been building for the last year.

I'll get some good pics of the driveway and the interior next time i'm up and he's actually in.

Is that stone cladding? It looks terrible.

I bet its nicer on the inside though.

i think it's reasonably done.

...isn't it a bit 'under-doored' though?!

Watch it, i built those door(frame)s. Unless you mean the height, there's still a bit to fit at the top of the doors to hide the runners.

It's actually quite deep so there's plenty room to manouvre cars once you are inside. He's got the Marcos on dollys just off to the left and the Saab pretty much in the middle and there's still room for another car to the right.

All his wood working and (Lutheran?) tools are in there too though.

The attic is sound proofed and will be used for a practice/recording studio when it's finished.

Nice set, how do you find the aqua wax?
I use the Aqua wax all the time for the Polo, it's brilliant stuff, only takes 15 mins to do the entire car and don't have to bother drying it first. Only £8 on ebay with 2 free microfibre cloths too. Highly recommended smile
I'll get me some of that then thumbup

i rather mean the width.
so his idea is to effectively be spacious single/workshop.
i think i'd go for big door but i could see why someone would want to do this..

I think the picture hides the actual size of it. Hold out for better ones soon(ish).

Should be able to scale it up from the slabs but it's not a double garage use as you say, it's one side working bay, centre "parking" and other side workshop.

If it's in context with the house it's fine. So if chap's uncle's house is stonebuilt then why not have a garage to match. I'd be happy with it smile
