Every car that's priced sensibly has photos taken in the same location, but every dodgy looking car has a mixture of photos.
As someone mentioned, they could have been hacked and someone is posting fake adverts, but surely if people actually phone up about the cars it wouldn't take long for the garage to realise something was wrong.
Maybe someone's hacked their email address, and they're banking on people emailing about the cars?

It looks like the cars have gone now. Most small car dealers update their stock via the Autotrader Dealer Portal which in turn updates the Autotrader online and the dealers own website. The people that instigate the scam hack the dealer portal with a mix of copied adverts, from memory a TT, 330d M Sport, X5 etc which are priced too low with a line in the advert or writing on the picture stating E-Mail me @......
It is common that these fake adverts are posted in the evenings around weekends and bank holidays when dealers are less likely to be accepting calls which makes people resort to using the E-Mail, once this has been done they are now in contact with the scammer who uses various excuses with the latest being II am winding up the company Monday due to a diverse so need to get some money back quickly". You would be amazed how many potential buyers thought they were getting a deal to good to be true and to take advantage and not miss out have sent money.
In the past several large franchised dealers have had their Autotrader sites compromised however it now seems the security is getting better.
