Years ago when I was a young man I stayed in a Chalet in Val d'isere and there was a mad Dentist there who had driven over in his Maserati Merak.

I go skiing for a couple of weeks to Courchevel 1850 each January and every year it never ceases to amaze me...
The village is packed with Porsches, Lambo's, Bentleys, Ferrari's, Astons, imported American stuff... You name it.

All being driven by Russians in full length fur coats. Genius biggrin

Poor effort, having the hood up when it's not raining or snowing. biggrin
it's my brothers Elise, and believe me, he has the roof down far too much! Tis warm in there with the engine behind you!

One from last year from my photo bucket (got sideways ones somewhere but on my phone)

And as for the atom comment, there's a few points keeping it at home!

Easy. Pro skier Jon Olson has this as his latest in a line of Alpine equipped Lamborghinis. A Murcielago LP670-4SV makes the Elise look the very sensible choice....

How very unoriginal!

Obviously most inappropriate would lack a heater, so it would have to be something elderly.

Slighly OT but many years ago a mate bought a brand new Golf Cabriolet (E reg).
Looking though the handbook it showed you how to attach the genuine parts roof rack to the hood for carrying ski's.
