Not sure it's a step up from an RS6
diesel power bands are pretty narrow, and they are clattery things.
I was disappointed with the gearbox in my 335d, It was terrible and never made use of the 350bhp it had.
Hope the new box is a lot better, and better still it needs the 4wd version too.

Its quicker than the manual its more efficient and its less VED like for like.
For a commuting car this auto is ideal - get a caterham etc for the weekend with stick shift.

So which BMW dealership now has your RS6 please?
And did you say they gave you £8000 for it as a part ex?
Didn't say anything about who where or how much I sold it for - but it wasn't to the BMW garage I bought my car from. And did you say they gave you £8000 for it as a part ex?
I actually sold it back to the same garage I bought it from in the first instance - and I've just checked its not showing on their website as yet.

So I'm guessing you bought it as an AUC as it's still under a BMW warranty?
So how much depreciation are you budgeting for a month?
Which garage have you sold your RS6 to as I have a friend who's looking for one?
See my garage - I'm expecting it to be worth at most £8k in 6 years with c13k pa miles - I was given a PCP GFV of c£8k after c4 years which may or may not have equity. So how much depreciation are you budgeting for a month?

PM me re the garage and I'll send you the details. Its not yet been on their website as they wanted to refurb all 4 wheels and repaint the rear bumper as it had a scuf and two scratches. They took my car last Friday night and it appeared they had it booked in today to sort out those niggles.

Sorry missed the first question - yes AUC from BMW Coopers Reading. So how much depreciation are you budgeting for a month?

Nope few months ago actually.
Nope - you were still commenting on it up to the 21st Sept going on about 1.5mm usage over a certain period meaning your RS6 tyres would last 18,000miles. Seems like you would be better with a Nissan Micra.30 all or is it fresh balls?
Oh one last thing for all you RS6 doubters - I've just opened up today post and see below my VED reminder (no longer relevant as its out of my ownership).
I don't have custard but a book of Royal Mail stamps is on it.
. Game set and match
I might pop outside later to take a pic inside my new car - note "might"

Welshy, it really doesn't matter what you post up because nearly everyone is still sceptical and as such, your reputation will never fully recover.
Posting up the log book which was done previously the VED renewal received today all the keys. Not sure really what else people would really need - though one did previously ask for me to post up my insurance document....hmmm never going to happen.

If I were in Welshy's shoes, I'd post a picture of the green slip from the V5 along with a tin of Bird's finest! That'll disprove the cynics in the house!
What of the new car? Can do - don't have custard but can substitute for something in the cooking cabinet. Not possible on the RS6 - that's gone and I did post a pic of that to counter those who didn't believe - though even with that they didn't believe.

Because it's not insured? Not sure really what else people would really need - though one did previously ask for me to post up my insurance document....hmmm never going to happen.

Some people, such as yourself forgive, others don't and when people have asked Mr Beef to prove he owns certain vehicles, he doesn't.
Some people will say fair play for not caving in to the peer pressure and others will remain sceptical and doubt him.
On this occasion, he would do himself a few favours by snapping a couple of photos with some custard and the VED.
Not custard but pesto sauce. Some people will say fair play for not caving in to the peer pressure and others will remain sceptical and doubt him.

Does your mate still want the RS6 as you asked for info I replied and it seems to have gone quiet....Hopefully not B/S?

55k miles Welshbeef? What happened to those plans for a brand new 3 Series?
Nice to see yours is almost as hilarious fuel economy wise as my 530d when used for short trips though, 21mpg isn't bad
Couldn't justify the depreciation and I wanted RWD not AWD - as it happened I had gone down to the dealers to look at 5 f30 330ds they had instead I just saw this in the used car lot loved its looks got inside it decision was made even before the test drive. This one fits the family better too which ticks the box.
Lol fuel economy --- it is my first tank but yep 21mpg from an 8 speed 535d I did mention it was spirited driving. I really like driving it and totally agree the short trips don't do fuel economy any favours in it. I really like the fact they don't have a water temp gauge instead its an oil temp so its treated really gently until its up to 100 (just like all my old cars up to temp first then use the power).
I've not yet tried the park assist function - also no idea how I rip the music to the HD? All my music is iTunes and I believe its MPEG only.... God knows how you convert in pretty crap on such things.

I would't even bother taking the time to post pics, etc up. Who gives a st if anonymous people on the internet don't believe you? Still not sure what was going on with the 944/S2000 though.
Totally agree - I find it remarkable that they seem to follow you around deliberately destroying breads I create or if I post onto any others thread they just turn it back and deliberately debate totally off topic issues (clearly trying to get me to flounce but that hasn't and will not happen).
