It looks a bit st really doesn't it.

So many better looking cars in the same or similar class.

The language just doesn't make any sense to me. Bangle made some lovely cars, and some horrors, namely the 7 series facelift back in 2000 ish (!?)... but today it feels like almost all the new BMW models are horrors!

Terrible. Ugly. Worse than the last generation.

All things said about the flame surfacing era, and they've aged better than many designs!

On the other hand, at least they didn't look like they'd been held over a hot fire for a little too long! Poor effort from me I'm afraid.

That front is horrible, just horrible.....

however the cabin should be class leading as looks good with a high level of kit.

Why is it so hard to get a complete package these days?

Nice interior...but for god sake the exterior is astonishingly ugly! Surely the design dept at BMW can come up with something that actually look good, this just looks stupid!

I think I was in the minority of people who didn't the appearance of the former 1 series absolutely vomit-inducing.

Sadly, BMW have achieved the impossible: built a car which even Mr Magoo would find visually offensive.

I agree with your first point, the new 1 series is f-ugly. However I don't get your second point about the E46 which is widely regarded as the nicest looking 3 since the E30.
