RWD, 6 cylinders, seats 5, supremely reliable, fully loaded with kit, a decent drive.

I know of a 50k miler in VGC that just sold for less than £1500, bargain.

Definitely +1 to that. They are good, solid cars. Maybe get the sport one, I believe it has a LSD. Or an imported Altezza RS200 equivalent if you can find one under 4K.
