Haven't read the thread, but... if you are considering the jeep. don't. it's vastly overpriced. that is the pre-facelift one. absolutely hideous inside.
The late 97/98 facelisted version totally changed in the interior, and a little of the exterior. much nicer place to be :P

a pre-facelifted one should fetch £500-700, a post £1000+

but they are awesome vehicles!

Well the deal has gone bendy on that one anyway so maybe someone closer can grab it! Insurance for me and th OH as a named driver is £400ish a year. SOmehow it is cheaper without excess on the policy? strange

If you want a 4x4 buy one thta was designed strictly for that purpose and not as a 4x4 people carrier.
