RE: Nissan 'Super Juke' Is No Joke
Discussion
Should be a real laugh... at least until Nissan announces the price, then reason might prevail - which likely means going for the car that lent this its oily bits.
Still, good to see the Japanese can still do bonkers (outside of dreaming up rather unfathomable model designations for assorted domestic market lifestyle accessory transportation thingies).

Exactly what I was going to say, why would you put in the GTR engine in the old state of tune?
That's what it says on the Facebook page. Maybe they don't want it to be faster than the GT-R?loveice said:
Well, 80's Group Bs are usually based on B-Segment superminis. Despite being a small SUV, Juke is a B-Segment car just happen to have 4WD and a very curved body shell. How could you not see this 500bhp+ AWD B-Segment hatchback as the modern day Group B monster?
Read the original posts again, you have missed the point. Does this honestly look like a 1980's Group B car to you?900T-R said:

Joking aside, what exactly costitures 'great'design about this random mish mash of lines and curves? Styling - maybe, but design?
Ok yes we'll use the word styling in this case, as I suppose design instigates the whole package being great. When it is actually another crossover albeit a very small one. There isn't a random mish mash of lines. All I can see is some over sized wheel arches, rear lights that follow these and the window line to create an interesting rear light. Oh god I'm entering a debate and backing out as I don't have the time. Stuff to do.Joking aside, what exactly costitures 'great'design about this random mish mash of lines and curves? I rather like the Juke, at least it's different.
I applaud Nissan's tendency to take it's cars and do stupid things like this to them, but until they actually sell them, it's all a bit meaningless.
Couldn't agree more. This'll be the equivalent of the Aygo crazy. A one-off built with left over parts someone found in a shed somewhere (that probably explains the engine bhp) built for the sole purpose of gaining column inches and a bit of brand / product halo, and from the comments on here the juke could do with some of that for the testosterone "I'm not bigging myself up but I can look after myself" male market I applaud Nissan's tendency to take it's cars and do stupid things like this to them, but until they actually sell them, it's all a bit meaningless.
