Not that rare to me, i used to go see a dealership in Cheltenham that was full of Spykers. Always liked them myself.

I used to sell the things. Made a hell of racket but the early ones where a real pig. Stiff suspension is an understatement and the brakes took some getting used to!

The interior is a thing of beauty but I still think the back end is a little blunt.

P.S. try filling one up with petrol.......takes a good 10 minutes due to the positioning of the filler meaning the fuel pump keeps on cutting out due to back pressure.

Can someone tell me what is the yellow car facing out to Park Lane, Spyker is a bit of nonsense IMHO. Beautiful, but none sense! Thanks in anticipation.
It's a Diablo isn't it?
To most people it's just a Diablo, but it's a very unique one. Its full designation is Lamborghini Diablo SE30 Jota R.

It's essentially a pretty serious kart with a bespoke Spyker body, quilted leather interior etc. It'll do around 100mph apparently, although not with me in it it bloody won't!

(Who needs airbags when your organs could instead be impaled on something so cool?) I just love that line.

Has to be said, the interiors on these cars are magnificent, like a fine jewel (especially in person).

Funnily enough, in relation to the exterior, I've never viewed them as imposing, which I guess is due to them not being as wide as your average "super car".

Look at the interior, I mean LOOK AT IT, it's fantastic.
Agreed. Looks like the cockpit of a WW2 bomber smile

that car needs a supercharger on it to boost some more power, then it suits better to its looks me thinks.

I don't think I'd ever get bored of that exposed gear linkage.

Sat alongside one on the way to Goodwood last year and decided that if, by some miracle, I could ever afford one, it simply doesn't have enough presence to warrant the outlay.
Do love that interior though; particularly the fact that everything you touch (wheel, gearlever and pedals) are all utterly drool-worthy.

Am i the only person who doesn't like the interior ? I personally think the diamond plate metal makes it look cheap and tacky
Nope you are not the only one. I'm not a fan at all, I'm sure they are better in the flesh and I do like the gear linkage but the rest for me looks a bit of a mess to my eyes. Somehow I always think kit car when I see the dash.

I can't imagine that one of these would ever get to the top of a list of cars I would buy (assuming my finances permitted of course) but I do love them and think the world is a much better place because they exist so thanks to those who have bought one!
