I did the Jap thing when i was in my mid/late 20's with a modified EVO V, a very modified Fairlady Z, and an S13..... But the second i turned 30 i just felt silly driving those kind of cars. Not knocking the cars..... they are great. just dont like the image they have, anyomore.

Having said that, i would quite like a little silver Mk1 MX-5 (I think that will be a true classic in a generations time).

I've been toying with a Legacy 2.0 turbo estate for a while - proper reliable 4WD transmission with decent space and go.

Loved my RX7, had it for about 8 months and it spent 4 of them in a garage, but on the days when it did work, boy was it something special

Not for the faint hearted or cash strapped

Has anyone got any info on a Mazda 323 Turbo thing? A guy I know had one about 18 years ago, it was Intergrale-esq in the fact it had blown arches and some bonkers engine. I would imagine it was a JDM or some such other imported car. Impressive in them days, not so much now probably but I would still like to get some intel...scratchchin

Great cars, can't recommend them enough - just sold mine for a 911, and not sure the German is any quicker.

Hardest part of that is finding one that hasn't been in the possession of someone who has more money than taste.
And thats exactly what I did. Now garaged and completely standard still. biggrin

Niiiiiice.

I can accept nice wheels, and a slight tweak to 400bhp as acceptable. But stupid bodykits are a no no.

Where did you get yours from badger? I have looked on the usual import sites but they seem quite rare. I want a manual too, which is quite difficult in slush box loving Japan...
