This isn't a boxter contender...it's a different car altogether. I expect it to be priced much closer to the 911 and performance figures that sit between the cayman r and the 991 C2S.

I know looks are subjective, but wtf did you expect? confused I can't see how you could make the car look less "boring" whilst maintaining its good looks.

looks like a Ferrari California but with vents all over it...

The love child of a California and an S2000 ..... That statement should be taken as a compliment, rather than a criticism, as both of those cars are fantastic machines.

I was thinking exactly the same. I think I'll need to see one in the flesh befoer I make my mind up. The front end is a bit fussy isn't it.
He said it was dull, you agree but say its fussy? Classic pistonheads. Make your mind up indeed!

I really like the clean lines of the F type, 1st impression very maserati nose - but is that a bad thing? no, a very good looking car and I hope it sells by the bucket load.

Agree the colour will make or break this car btu are these prottypes or is this the finished articles?

Something less boring?

Headlamps are a very predictable, safe shape. Front bumper has no imagination to it whatsoever, being just a postiche of the latest XKR-S offerings.
Very little surfacing to the bonnet and sides.
Hopefully the rear end will brighten it up a bit...

I think the silver one on the left of the first picture has hints of Maserati 3200/4200 about it and yet the red one not at all.
